Borago vill vara helt transparenta, både hur vi arbetar och hur vi hanterar den information som vi samlar in om våra kunder. Här berättar vi hur och varför vi behandlar personuppgifter och cookies på vår webbplats, samt dina rättigheter och våra skyldigheter gentemot dig.
1.1 Personuppgiftsansvarig
Borago är personuppgiftsansvarig för behandling av personuppgifter. Det innebär att det är vårt ansvar att se till att du:
- Är medveten om varför och hur vi samlar in dina personuppgifter.
- Kan göra aktiva val att godkänna eller neka till behandling och lagring av dina personuppgifter (vi behandlar inte dina personuppgifter utan ditt godkännande).
- Kan uppdatera sina uppgifter.
- Lan bli glömd ur systemet och att informationen vi behandlar om dig raderas.
- Kan få alla personuppgifter vi lagrar om dig utlämnade till dig.
- Kan begära att vi exporterar dina personuppgifter vid, exempelvis, byte av leverantör.
- Har dina personuppgifter i säkert förvar hos oss. Vi lämnar inte ut dem till tredje part utan att du informeras och uttryckligen godkänner hur och varför detta sker.
- Personuppgifter och cookies
- Till personuppgifter räknas allt som kan identifiera dig personligen; namn, adress, personnummer, e-mail osv. Vid sidan av personuppgifter finns även cookies. Cookies är små filer som skickas till din dator via webbläsaren (om du inte stängt av cookies) när du besöker en webbplats. Deras funktion är att samla information om hur en besökare använder en webbplats, ofta för att kunna erbjuda anpassat innehåll.
2. Varför lagrar Borago dina personuppgifter?
För att kunna administrera och genomföra det pedagogiska stödet behöver vi på Borago behandla dina personuppgifter. De personuppgifter som behandlas är sådana uppgifter som du skickar in i samband med din kursbokning via vår hemsida, per mail eller telefon. De personuppgifter vi samlar in och behandlar är namn, e-postadress, företagets kontaktuppgifter och kurs. Vi behandlar dina personuppgifter med stor hänsyn till din integritet och följer de bestämmelser som finns.
2.1 De uppgifter vi behöver är:
- Namn på deltagare
- Deltagarens e-postadress
- Deltagarens telefonnummer
- Företagets adress
- Företagets faktureringsadress
Om du inte vill uppge din mailadress kan företagets info-mailadress användas istället.
2.2 Att ge/dra tillbaka medgivande
Du kan närsomhelst be oss radera dina personuppgifter. Vi vill dock göra dig uppmärksam på att vi inte kan utfärda förlorade diplom och kursintyg eller hålla dig uppdaterad om nyheter inom branschen.
2.3 Uppdatera dina uppgifter
För att uppdatera dina personuppgifter behöver du bara maila oss på info@borago.se.
2.4 Att bli glömd
Borago är personuppgiftsansvarig för behandlingen av personuppgifter. Enligt personuppgiftslagen har du som individ har rätt att begära ut vilka personuppgifter som finns lagrade om dig samt få information om hur vi behandlar dessa. En sådan begäran ska vara skriftlig. Du har också rätt att begära rättelse om de personuppgifter som finns sparade är felaktiga. För det ovanstående vänder du dig till oss, info@borago.se
2.5 Att få dina uppgifter utlämnade och/eller exporterade
För att få veta vilka personuppgifter vi har lagrade om dig och för att eventuellt exportera dem till en ny leverantör anmäler du detta till oss på info@borago.se. Vi skickar då snarast alla uppgifter vi har lagrade till dig.
3. Mailutskick
Borago skickar ut nyhetsbrev och information om kommande kurser via e-post.
De uppgifter vi lagrar är namn och e-postadress.
4. Era rättigheter
Ni har rätt att på begäran få information om huruvida Borago behandlar eller har behandlat personuppgifter om er. Ni kan också begära ut behandlade personuppgifter om er samt begära rättelse eller komplettering av felaktigt behandlade personuppgifter. Ni kan också som regel rätt att begära att behandlingen av personuppgifter om er begränsas eller helt raderas från Borago databaser. Radering kan bland annat ske om uppgifterna inte längre bedöms som nödvändiga, eller om ni har återkallat ett givet samtycke till behandling av uppgifterna. Individer som samtyckt till behandling av personuppgifter och som har tillhandahållit Borago dessa i ett strukturerat, allmänt använt och maskinläsbart format, har under vissa förutsättningar rätt att begära att dessa personuppgifter flyttas.
Ni har därför rätt att göra invändning mot behandling av era personuppgifter. Ni har alltid rätt att kostnadsfritt invända mot att personuppgifter om er som behandlats av Borago, inbegripet profilering, används vid direkt marknadsföring.

2. Why does Borago store your personal data?
In order to administer and provide educational support, Borago needs to process your personal data. The personal data processed consists of information that you submit in connection with booking a course via our website, by email, or by phone. The personal data we collect and process includes name, email address, company contact details, and course information. We process your personal data with great respect for your privacy and in accordance with applicable regulations.
2.1 The information we need is:
- Participant’s name
- Participant’s email address
- Participant’s phone number
- Company address
- Company billing address
If you do not wish to provide your personal email address, the company’s general information email address may be used instead.
2.2 Giving / Withdrawing Consent
You may request that we delete your personal data at any time. Please note, however, that we will then be unable to issue replacement diplomas or course certificates, or keep you informed about news within the industry.
2.3 Updating Your Information
To update your personal data, simply email us at info@borago.se.
2.4 The Right to Be Forgotten
Borago is the data controller for the processing of personal data. Under applicable data protection legislation, you as an individual have the right to request information about which personal data is stored about you and how it is processed. 2.5 Access to and/or Export of Your Data
To find out which personal data we have stored about you, and to request that it be exported to a new service provider, please notify us at info@borago.se. We will then promptly send you all personal data we have stored.
3. Email Communications
Borago sends newsletters and information about upcoming courses via email. The data we store for this purpose is name and email address.
4. Your Rights
You have the right, upon request, to receive information on whether Borago processes or has processed personal data about you. You may also request access to your processed personal data and request correction or completion of incorrect personal data. As a rule, you also have the right to request that the processing of your personal data be restricted or that it be completely erased from Borago’s databases. Erasure may occur, for example, if the data is no longer considered necessary or if you have withdrawn your consent to the processing.
Individuals who have consented to the processing of personal data and have provided such data to Borago in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format have, under certain conditions, the right to request that their personal data be transferred.
You therefore have the right to object to the processing of your personal data. You always have the right to object, free of charge, to the use of personal data processed by Borago, including profiling, for direct marketing purposes.
